Ron Myers Founded Chef Colus in 1972 At 611 Fremont and Became A Good Friend in 1981. Chef's Was Closed After Ron's Passing and We Re-Opened Chef's At 611 Fremont On August 1, 2016. We Closed At 611 On December 19, 2019 As We Were Moving Chef's To 334 Market St (Original Chick Montgomery Store) and Re-Opened On March 18, 2020. We Closed On July 23, 2020 Due To Covid Restrictions Imposed by CA Regulators. We Re-Opened September 8, 2021. We Are A Family Owned and Operated Bar and Restaurant. We Take Pride in Cooking Food From Our Own Family Recipes, Some Old and Some Still Developing. We Appreciate Everyone's Understanding That Good Food Takes Longer To Plate.
